Q:My R210LC-9 excavator has difficulty starting to swing and rotates slowly. Could this be a motor problem?
A: Possibly, but not necessarily the only cause. Weak/slow swing performance can result from multiple factors:
1) Insufficient swing relief valve pressure;
2) Internal wear in the swing motor (increased internal leakage);
3) Insufficient main pump flow;
4) Low pilot pressure. We recommend professional diagnosis first: use a pressure gauge to test swing relief pressure and measure motor leakage. If severe internal wear is confirmed, this motor is the ideal direct replacement.
Q:Does this swing motor include the reduction gearbox?
A:No, it does not. This is the swing motor assembly only, without the swing reduction gearbox. The swing motor mounts on top of the gearbox, and together they form the complete swing drive unit. If you need the gearbox or complete assembly, please contact us separately.
Q:What is the most important consideration during installation?
A:System cleanliness is absolutely critical! Old motor failure often generates metal debris that contaminates the entire hydraulic system. Before installing a new motor, you MUST:
1) Thoroughly flush all swing circuit hoses;
2) Replace hydraulic oil and return filter;
3) Pre-fill the motor housing with clean hydraulic oil before installation;
4) Bleed the system after installation. Skipping any step may cause premature failure of the new motor.
Q:How can I confirm this motor fits my R210LC-9?
A:The most accurate method is to check the original part number label on your old motor and verify it is 31Q6-10131. Alternatively, you can provide your excavator's serial number to us for final verification. Different production batches of the R210LC-9 series may have configuration variations.
