Turbo is a device that increases the power and torque output of an engine by forcing extra compressed air into the combustion chamber. It is typically driven directly by the engine's crankshaft via a belt, gear, or chain.
The power output of an engine is fundamentally limited by the amount of fuel and air it can ingest.
