Common faults of fuel injector include
Nozzle and Needle Wear
The injector's needle and nozzle experience extreme pressures and high-frequency movements. Over time, this causes natural wear, enlarging the spray holes and degrading the seal. This results in fuel dribbling, poor spray patterns, and increased fuel consumption.

Leaking Injectors
External leaks can occur at seals and O-rings, while internal leaks happen when fuel leaks past internal components into the engine oil or return line. This dilutes engine oil, reduces rail pressure, and causes hard starting.

Poor Electrical Connection
The injector's electrical connector can become loose, corroded, or damaged by vibration and environmental exposure. This leads to intermittent operation, erratic engine performance, and communication errors with the ECU.

Internal Filter Clogging
Most injectors have a small internal intake filter. Contaminants in the fuel, such as rust, dirt, or debris, can clog this filter, severely restricting fuel flow to the injector and causing engine stalling or hard starting.
