Causes:

Prolonged overload operation, unstable voltage, internal moisture, or aging insulation can cause the coil to overheat, short-circuit, or open-circuit. Symptoms include valve malfunction, severe coil overheating, or a burnt smell.

Repair:
Replace the entire electromagnetic coil assembly. Use a multimeter to measure the coil resistance and compare it with the standard value to confirm damage. When replacing, always use an original or certified compatible coil with the same voltage and power specifications, and ensure the plug connection is secure and waterproof.

Causes:

Hydraulic oil contamination is the main cause. Impurities enter the gap between the valve core and valve orifice, causing obstructed movement or scoring/wear. Symptoms include slow valve operation, incomplete valve movement, or abnormal system pressure or flow.

Repair:
Dissassemble, clean, or replace the valve core/valve body. If the sticking is not severe, thoroughly clean the valve core and valve orifice to remove foreign objects. If there is visible wear or scoring grooves, the worn parts must be replaced. After repair, the system hydraulic oil must be thoroughly filtered or replaced and the pipelines cleaned.

Prolonged exposure to oil, pressure, and temperature can cause rubber seals to age, harden, deform, or crack, leading to external leakage or internal oil cross-contamination of the valve body, affecting performance and polluting the environment.

Replace all seals. When disassembling the valve body, use specialized tools to avoid damaging the sealing grooves. Use original or equivalent material and specifications seals, ensuring correct installation and no twisting. If necessary, apply a small amount of clean hydraulic oil to the seals to aid installation.

Frequent compression and release during electromagnetic on/off cycles can cause metal fatigue in the spring, leading to weakened elasticity or breakage. This will affect the valve core's return speed and positional accuracy, causing response delay.

Repair:
Replace the return spring. After disassembly, inspect the spring for permanent deformation, cracks, or breakage. When replacing, always select a spring with the same elastic coefficient and size. Incorrect springs will alter the valve's opening and closing characteristics, affecting the response and control accuracy of the entire hydraulic system.
