Damage: The electronic components on the sensor's internal circuit board are subjected to high engine temperatures and severe vibrations over long periods, which can easily lead to solder joint detachment, capacitor breakdown, or chip performance degradation, causing signal output deviation or interruption. 

Repair: Due to the precision and solidified packaging of the internal components, they cannot be repaired individually. A completely new sensor assembly must be replaced, and the circuit voltage must be checked for normality.

Damage: Long-term exposure to oil, mud, and vibration can cause oxidation and corrosion of the pins in the sensor plug. The wiring harness may also break or have its insulation damaged, leading to increased contact resistance and intermittent signal. Symptoms include intermittent alarms or data fluctuations.

Repair:  Disconnect the plug, use a specialized cleaning agent to remove oxides, repair or replace damaged wiring harnesses, ensure a secure connection, and apply protective grease.

Damage: For pressure or flow sensors, the sensing orifice is easily clogged by impurities, sludge, or carbon deposits in the fuel, causing the sensitive element to fail to accurately detect changes in the medium, resulting in distorted output signals. Symptoms include abnormal pressure or slow response.

Repair:  Carefully remove the sensor and clean the sensing orifice with a non-corrosive cleaner. Do not use hard objects to poke it, as this may damage the diaphragm. After cleaning, dry the sensor and reinstall it.

Damage: Loosening of the sensor mounting threads due to vibration or hardening of the sealing gasket can lead to leaks (oil, gas, or water), affecting measurement accuracy and potentially causing secondary malfunctions. Symptoms include leakage at the joint or signal drift.

Repair: Inspect and tighten the sensor to the specified torque. Replace worn-out sealing rings or gaskets. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and flat.
